Santa Monica’s “No Kings Day” Rally Scheduled for This Saturday at Palisades Park

Date:

This Saturday, activists around the country will mark “No Kings Day” with protests designed to remind people of America’s anti-oligarchical history and contrast that with today’s political power structures. No Kings Day will have a special meaning on the West Coast where many people are directly impacted by President Donald Trump’s hostile actions towards Los Angeles and Southern California.

Santa Monica will have its own No Kings Day rally at Palisades Park (Ocean Ave and Montana Ave) this Saturday, June 14, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Organizers are reminding people that “all No Kings events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.
