Santa Monica College Presents the SMC Voice Showcase June 13

The Santa Monica College (SMC) Music Department will present the SMC Voice Showcase, an evening concert featuring a selection of talented SMC voice students performing songs from a variety of genres. The concert will be held Friday, June 13, at 7:30 p.m. in The Edye at the SMC Performing Arts Center, 1310 11th Street (at Santa Monica Boulevard), Santa Monica.

Led by SMC Director of Choral Activities Jeremiah Selveyand SMC Opera Theatre Director Janelle DeStefano — and accompanied by Gary Gray and Sang Hee Cho — SMC’s advanced voice students will perform classical, opera, jazz, musical theater, and contemporary commercial songs.

Tickets are $10 for general admission (a modest service charge applies). Advance tickets may be purchased online at smc.edu/ticketsor by calling 310-434-3005 (Monday-Friday; limited hours). Tickets may also be purchased — starting 45 minutes before the performance begins — at The Broad Stage Box Office at the SMC Performing Arts Center. Free parking on premises. Seating is strictly on a first-arrival basis.
