New Citywide Rental Registry Coming for Rented Homes & Condos: This already applies to rent controlled units and the new registry extends that to non-rent controlled rental units. Collected data for the new registry will include move-in date, initial rent, current rent, date & amount of the most recent rent increase and will “allow the City to track allowable rent increases, monitor compliance with the City’s rent and just cause for eviction ordinance, and communicate rental unit data on a regular basis to owners and tenants alike.” More details here

Community Invited to March 2 Community Solutions Summit on Citywide Equity Plan: The City will host the summit as the next phase in the process to create a citywide equity plan. All are invited to attend the “Community Solutions Summit: Turning Equity Priorities into Action,” which will take place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Blank Spaces, 1450 Second Street.
