2024 OPA Board Nominees: We’re excited to share that these seven people are running to be on the OPA Board next year: Abe Sassoon, Dave Tann, Erin Mosbaugh, Jeffrey Jarow, Lucy Stone, Robbie Leer, & Will Burrington. Learn more about them here. Election will be the week of our Dec. 9 Holiday Party.

The Street Seen: The Wilson: This week’s write-up details the new 4-story mixed use project @ 2903 – 2931 Lincoln Blvd @ Ashland. 

Gently Used Clothing Drive: Santa MoniCARES, in collaboration with the Fairmont Miramar Hotel & Bungalows, will collect gently used professional attire for individuals re-entering the workforce. Donations will be accepted until Sunday, December 31 at the Santa Monica Travel & Tourism Visitor Information Center on 2427 Main Street from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., seven days a week. All donations will benefit Chrysalis – Santa Monica.

  • Thanksgiving in Venice 2023- Come Help Feed The Homeless (Thursday, 6:30 – 10am): “For the past 11 years, a large group of volunteers ranging from all ages… come together to feed, clothed, handout toiletries and many smiles to the less fortunate community of Venice Beach. We successfully have had over 300 volunteers each event and served over 4000 people who may not have a family to spend the holidays with, and are living on the streets.” @ 219 Rose Ave. More details here.
