The community was invited to talk a walking tour around the cemetery to visit each featured grave. Actors portrayed notables that included astronaut Sally Ride, the first American woman to travel into space, and Irene Ryan, the actress who played Granny on TV’s “The Beverly Hillbillies.”

Saturday’s event also included the official dedication of the city-owned cemetery’s eco-friendly burial site, Eternal Meadow.
