Video: Exploring the 11th Annual Santa Monica Airport ArtWalk

Date:

About 60 artists who work out of studios at the Santa Monica Airport opened their creative spaces to the general public last Saturday. The event was the 11th annual Santa Monica Airport ArtWalk, sponsored by the city’s Cultural Affairs Division. Many of the artists work at the Santa Monica Art Studios. Visitors could also tour the Museum of Flying, paint a pot at the airport’s Demonstration Gardens, and participate in improvisational workshops at the Ruskin Group Theater.

Throughout the afternoon there were food trucks, live music, and demonstrations by student artists at the Santa Monica College ceramic arts studio.
