Video : Pico Improvement Association’s Fitness Crawl

Date:

The Pico Improvement Organization held its first ever event Saturday, the Pico Fitness Crawl. Seventeen fitness businesses along Pico Boulevard in Santa Monica, spanning from the beach to the city’s eastern border, offered 10-minute workouts throughout the morning to participants. About 60 people signed up for the event and either walked, ran, or biked from station to station.

Matthew Gibbons, owner of Gibbons Media and organizer of the crawl, said the event was designed to showcase the many fitness opportunities available for residents that are featured along Pico Boulevard, including karate, yoga, and virtual skiing.
