Kidical Mass Rides Again Tomorrow

Date:

Tomorrow morning at 9 a.m. is the next Kidical Mass. While it borrows its name from the legendary Critical Mass, there is nothing controversial or political about this fun, slow paced, family fun ride.

Given the time of year, tomorrow’s Kidical Mass is election themed. Kids are encouraged to direct their bikes with repurposed lawn signs for their favorite ballot proposition. Let’s make Measure V stand for “Vroom!”

I’M ONLY KIDDING! The theme is Halloween, of course. Costumes, on kids, parents or bikes are encouraged. Helmets remain mandatory.

This year the city is partnering up with Sustainable Works to make the ride apart of the Community Climate Action Summit at St. Monica (725 California Ave.) Pre-ride festivities, helmet decorating, free bike safety checks, and snacks/ refreshments will begin at 9am. If you’d like to join the fun, RSVP to cory.keen@smgov.net sometime today.
