Hi everyone!
Our summer vacation has ended, and now it’s time to get back to our labor of love, providing you the news and opinion pieces that help you be the best Santa Monica resident you can be. As mentioned in our last post, Next is going to be a somewhat different publication going forward.
Starting Monday, Next will be a place for regular columnists to bring news and views, a place where stories can be syndicated from some of Santa Monica’s best blogs, and even an occasional breaking news piece. There will still be a “Vote Local” campaign, featuring chances to get to know the candidates and hear their opinions on how to make Santa Monica an even better place to live, work and play.
We’ll be starting out small and hopefully adding new content as the weeks roll on. At our re-launch, we’ll be featuring a regular column on mobility issues, syndication of the popular “Raising Wilshire” blog, a monthly column by Pier Commissioner and sustainability expert Carter Rubin and a new podcast that focuses on ways to get involved in the civic life of the city.
