Spoke/City Host Sunday Bike Ride to Showcase Bergamot Improvements

City staff and Santa Monica Spoke will host a free community bike ride on Sunday, Feb. 15, offering residents a firsthand look at recent First/Last Mile safety improvements in the Bergamot Area.

The event begins at 9 a.m. at Ishihara Park, 2909 Exposition Blvd., with a brief bike-handling refresher and safety tips. Light refreshments, including bagels, juice, and coffee, will be provided.

Participants will then join a guided ride of approximately two miles, showcasing new street design features and safety treatments while offering instruction on how to use them confidently.

The ride is expected to conclude around noon and will start and end at Ishihara Park.
