Laughter, learning and rising voices in stand-up come to Santa Monica this spring with the Bergamot Comedy Festival, a week-long celebration of comedic arts blending performance, education and industry connection.
Produced by Comedy Reflects Our World — the Santa Monica-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit also known as “The Crow” — the festival runs March 24–28, 2026 at The Crow inside the historic Bergamot Station Arts Center. The venue sits adjacent to the 26th Street/Bergamot Metro stop and offers free parking on site.
Now in its newest edition, Bergamot Comedy Fest brings together up-and-coming and underrepresented comedians for shows, panels, and community programming that spotlight voices not always seen on traditional stages. Over the course of the week, attendees can expect multiple comedy showcases, free educational panels, networking opportunities and discussions with industry professionals — all designed to give performers greater exposure and local audiences a chance to discover new talent.
Festival organizers describe the event as an opportunity for Santa Monica locals and comedy fans from across the region to enjoy diverse performances and learn more about the art and craft of comedy. In past editions at The Crow, performers have credited the festival with helping them build industry connections, sharpen their craft and reach new audiences.
Programming typically features comedy sets each evening paired with free educational seminars and industry panels that are open to the public. While specific show schedules and lineup details are expected to be announced closer to the festival’s start, the event’s mission centers on amplifying unique voices and building bridges between emerging talent and decision-makers in the entertainment world.
