Santa Monica College Presents the SMC Voice Showcase Dec. 18

The Santa Monica College (SMC) Music Department is pleased to present the SMC Voice Showcase, an evening concert featuring a selection of talented SMC voice students performing songs from a variety of genres. The concert will be held Thursday, Dec. 18, at 7:30 p.m. in The Edye at the SMC Performing Arts Center, 1310 11th Street (at Santa Monica Boulevard), Santa Monica.

Led by directors Janelle DeStefano and Jeremiah Selvey Convento, SMC’s advanced voice students will perform classical, opera, jazz, musical theater, and contemporary commercial songs.

Tickets are $10 general admission (plus a modest service charge). Ticket sales directly support opportunities for students in the voice area of the Music Department. Advance tickets can be purchased online at smc.edu/ticketsor by calling 310-434-3005 (Monday-Friday; limited hours). Tickets may also be purchased — starting 45 minutes before the performance begins — at The Broad Stage Box Office at the SMC Performing Arts Center. Free parking on premises. Seating is strictly on a first-arrival basis.
