Santa Monica College Jazz Ensemble Presents Live Concert Oct. 27 “Our Wasted Youth” is Concert Theme

Santa Monica College (SMC) presentsthe SMC Jazz Ensemble in a live concert on Monday, Oct. 27, at 7 p.m. in the Music Hall at the SMC Performing Arts Center, 1310 11th Street(at Santa Monica Boulevard), Santa Monica.

Led by conductor Frederick Keith Fiddmont, the accomplished musical group will explore “Our Wasted Youth,” a program featuring the world of great (and not so great) television themes.

“How many hours of your youth were lost in front of the TV?” asks Conductor Fiddmont. “Come get comfortable for a fun evening reminiscing about them with cheers or groans.”

Tickets are $10 general admission (plus a modest service charge); free for all students with any student I.D. Advance tickets can be purchased online at smc.edu/ticketsor by calling 310-434-3005 (Monday-Friday; limited hours). Tickets may also be purchased — starting 45 minutes before the performance begins — at The Broad Stage Box Office at the SMC Performing Arts Center. Free parking on premises. Seating is strictly on a first-arrival basis.
