City Issues Statement on Federal Shutdown: No Changes Expected to Services

The City of Santa Monica released the following statement yesterday regarding the federal shutdown:

The city does not anticipate any disruptions to Santa Monica services or programs as a result of the current federal government shutdown. In anticipation of the potential shutdown, city teams have worked over the past week to ensure any federally-funded programs, such as housing vouchers, can continue without significant impacts to residents.
