Update: Brian Umali Is Home with His Family.

Date:

Last we week, Next posted a cry for help from the family of Brian Umali who had gone missing after his wallet had been found at the Pier. We don’t have the details of how he was found, but Umali’s family tells Reddit that he has been returned.

UPDATE: BRIAN IS HOME! Thank you all so so much for boosting this. My family and I are all so relieved and thankful he is finally home and safe. Much love to everyone who has supported us through this. Whether you shared tips or just boosted and shared this post, you gave me and my family the hope and strength we needed to get through this. Now he is home safe and comfortable in his own bed. Thank you all so so much from the bottom of our hearts.

While the story has a happy ending, it’s worth reading through the entire thread as his sister recounts the actions taken by the family and the complete inaction taken by the SMPD when Umali was missing and the family pleaded for help.
