The following is a submission from the Pier Corporation.
The Santa Monica Pier is rolling out the red carpet for locals once again with Locals’ Night on Thursday, March 20, from 3-10 p.m. The free, community-focused event is part of Locals’ Night: Third Thursdays On The Pier series, offering a vibrant mix of entertainment, music, art, and activities designed for locals, by locals – although everyone in Los Angeles is encouraged to attend.
From fun-for-all-ages programming in the afternoon to an eclectic lineup of live music in the evening, Locals’ Night invites residents to gather for an unforgettable celebration of Santa Monica’s culture and community. The night will also feature a classic car show, an interactive book and photo exhibit, and a variety of local vendors—making it a can’t-miss event for everyone. A portion of the evening’s proceeds will benefit SAMOHI Baseball in support of local youth athletics.
“Locals’ Night is about bringing the community together in a space that has been a gathering place for Santa Monicans for more than a century,” said Jim Harris, Executive Director and Historian of the Santa Monica Pier. “It’s a night to celebrate our city’s creative energy, from music and art to history and culture, all in the heart of one of California’s most iconic destinations.”
