Meeting Saturday On Latest Bicycling Plans & Projects in Santa Monica, Featuring Assembly Represenative Richard Bloom

This Saturday city staff will be giving an update on bike plan implementation, the “MANGo” Michigan Avenue Neighborhood Greenway project, and the proposed cycle track for the Colorado Esplanade. Former Santa Monica council member and mayor Richard Bloom, now the State Assembly District 50 Representative for much of the Westside, will be giving an update on regional coordination for bike share. Spoke and Santa Monica Walks will be giving additional updates on their efforts. The event is being hosted at the Fairview Santa Monica Library Branch on Ocean Park Blvd.

Doors open with refreshments at 10:30 am, speakers to begin at 11 am. More information on this event can be found on Santa Monica Spoke’s blog.
