Santa Monica Next: The Video

Date:

I’m going to be honest. When Streetsblog San Francisco launched, and they got their own Streetfilm announcing the launch. I was jealous. I didn’t get a video for Streetsblog L.A. I vowed, that if I ever launched a news website, we would have a video.

And I never forget a vow, even if it’s just made to myself.

So, when we planned the launch of Santa Monica Next, I asked our old friends Kris Fortin and Shireen Alihaji to help out. The result is above. If you’re reading this, you probably know what we’re doing at Santa Monica Next, but if not, you should check it out.

If nothing else, you should start watching at the 1:20 point to see me video bombed.

You can still make a tax-deductible donation through the Streetsblog L.A. or Santa Monica Next donation pages, our KickStarter, or just join us for the Streetsblog L.A./Santa Monica Next fundraiser on September 22.
