Santa Monica Spoke, the bayside city’s local chapter of the Los Angeles County Bicycle Coalition (LACBC), is calling for people to join the ride from Calabasas to Downtown Los Angeles today to protest the County District Attorney’s refusal to press charges in the death of cyclist Milt Olin last December.
Organized by LACBC, Yield to Life, and Ghost Bike Foundation, the ride begins at the site where Olin was killed after a L.A. County Sheriff’s deputy hit him with his patrol car while he was sending an email from his on-board computer.

• 4:15 p.m. Moment of silence

• 6:30 p.m. Leave from the L.A. Zoo parking lot (5333 Zoo Dr, Griffith Park, CA 90027). Other riders can meet up here.
