TONIGHT – Wednesday – City Hosts Virtual Town Hall on Fire Recovery

The following is a submission from the City of Santa Monica.

The city of Santa Monica will host a virtual town hall meeting on Wednesday, Feb. 26, to provide updates and answer questions from Santa Monica businesses and residents about Palisades Fire recovery. 

Community members will hear from local, state and regional experts on recovery information and resources specifically related to impacts from the fires in Santa Monica, including evacuation orders, Los Angeles Department of Water and Power’s water quality concerns, and reduced tourism and business activity. 

Speakers include representatives from:  

  • Federal Emergency Management Agency 
  • U.S. Small Business Administration 
  • L.A. County Department of Beaches & Harbors 
  • L.A. County Department of Public Health 
  • City of Santa Monica 

The virtual town hall will be Wednesday, Feb. 26, from 7-8:30 p.m. on Zoom. Advance registration is required. Spanish translation will be available.
