Due to a brush fire near the Getty Center, officials announced that all Santa Monica-Malibu schools will be closed Wednesday.
According to the Los Angeles Times, the roughly 50-acre fire broke out near the Brentwood neighborhood around 5 a.m. It has prompted the closure of the northbound 405 as well as mandatory evacuations of the area.
