Don’t forget that this month, Santa Monica NextStreetsblog L.A., and Streetsblog California will be celebrating several 2015 Streetsie Award winners with a party in Santa Monica.

Assemblymember Richard Bloom, Cyclehop, and Hulu will all have a party in their honor Thursday, March 24 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. with a party at Cyclehop’s west coast headquarters.

Get your tickets today here to join us.

Tickets are $20 per person. However, we don’t turn people away if that’s not in your budget; free tickets are also available. This event is also free for recurring monthly donors to Streetsblog/Next/Longbeachize, but we request you RSVP via Eventbrite. Drinks and refreshments will be served.

Bloom, Cyclehop, and Hulu were all awarded 2015 Streetsie awards for their standout work in making our streets safer, more sustainable, and accessible to all.

Bloom was honored in the first-ever Streetsblog California “Streetsies” for his work at the state legislature and his role in helping make Breeze Bike Share, L.A. County’s first-ever public bike-share system a reality. You can read more at Streetsblog California about Bloom’s work.

Hulu and Cyclehop, which runs Santa Monica’s Breeze Bike Share, are being honored together as the 2015 livable streets-friendly business by Streetsblog Los Angeles. Hulu, the Santa Monica-based entertainment company, stepped forward to sponsor Santa Monica’s 500-bike Breeze Bike Share system, the first large-scale public bike-share in Los Angeles County. Hulu promised an annual commitment of $675,000 for at least five years. Cyclehop is also a technological innovator with the first fleets of smart-bike bike-share.

It’s a party, so come ready to party and honor our friends!
