Santa Monica College to Present Spring 2026 Visiting Arts Professional Talks – Series Starts Saturday

The Santa Monica College Art Department’s ART 80, 82, and 84 Gallery Exhibition & Display Course is pleased to present the Spring 2026 Visiting Arts Professional Talks, a free series opening March 13. The special guest speakers will share their experiences and insights as professionals working in the art world.

All talks in the series are free and will be held at 12 p.m. (noon) on the SMC Main Campusat 1900 Pico Blvd., Santa Monica.

The SMC Spring 2026 Visiting Arts Professional Talks lineup is:

• Friday, March 13, 12 p.m. (noon), Art 214: Thomas Pilnik: Artist and Co-Director of Feia Gallery @tmpilnik @feia.studio.

• Friday, May 13, 12 p.m. (noon), Art 118: Emilia Yin: Gallery Director of Make Room Los Angeles @emiliayinla @makeroom.la.

• Friday, May 22, 12 p.m. (noon), Art 214: Angélica Becerra: Curator of American Art for The Huntington @aibecerra_art.

• Friday, June 5, 12 p.m. (noon, Art 118: Erin Jue & Madison Brockman: Los Angeles Art Conservation https://losangelesartconservation.com/.
