The following is a release from the Museum of Illusions

Museum of Illusions, the largest growing museum chain in the world, is turning heads and bending realities as it enters the Los Angeles market this fall. The new location marks the second in California on the heels of the brand’s San Diego opening earlier this year. Located in Santa Monica’s popular Third Street Promenade at 1232 3rd Street, the museum will act as an escape from reality for visitors of all ages.

Museum of Illusions Santa Monica brings a bold, immersive experience to Los Angeles’ iconic beach city. Spanning more than 12,000 square feet, the space is packed with eye-catching installations, mind-twisting illusions, interactive rooms, 3D holograms, and exhibits designed to challenge perception and spark curiosity. Adding to the intrigue, the museum will unveil a series of exclusive, never-before-seen pieces inspired by the city’s unmistakable character, from its legendary ties to the film industry and signature California Art Deco style to its free-spirited, rebellious edge.

“We are thrilled to launch the Museum of Illusions in Santa Monica and contribute to the vibrant cultural landscape of the greater Los Angeles area,” said Kim Schaefer, CEO of Museum of Illusions. “With its iconic beachfront, eclectic arts scene, and proximity to world-renowned entertainment hubs, Santa Monica is an ideal setting for our growing collection of immersive, interactive museums.”

The museum boasts a captivating collection of over 80 exhibits, sure to excite both locals and tourists visiting the area. Designed for all ages, the museum will teach visitors about vision, perception, the human brain and science, helping them understand why the eyes see things that the brain cannot comprehend. Spanning four continents in 26 countries and nearly 70 locations, Museum of Illusions is the world’s largest and fastest-growing brand of privately owned museums.

Museum of Illusions Santa Monica will be Sunday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Friday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. with final admission one hour before closing. Stay up-to-date on the latest news, grand opening details, exclusive promotions, special events, and thrilling experiences at the museum by visiting www.moisantamonica.com. The museum offers more than just general admission—it’s also the perfect venue for group outings, special events, team-building activities, and field trips, all of which can be pre-booked through the website.
