Los Angeles VisionWalk Is This Saturday – Starting at Crescent Bay Park

Date:

This Saturday morning (details below), the Los Angeles Vision Walk, a 5K walk benefitting the Foundation Fighting Blindness, will take off from Crescent Bay Park.

The stroll along the beach path will head north, cut under the pier, before turning around at the half-way point for a finish back at the park. The route mirrors that of the A Better World Races that moved out of the city earlier this year, for any racers feeling nostalgic.

As of the publication of this article, the run has raised over $62,000, a healthy amount but short over th $105,000 goal. Registration for the event is free, and you can register AND make a donation at the VisionWalk homepage.
