The 2025 Parks and Recreation Vision Plan draft update is now available online here.

The updated plan, a 345 page document, embraces a new vision for the city’s park network: “City as Habitat.”

Originally adopted nearly 30 years ago, the Parks and Recreation Vision Plan is inspired by the voice of the community, establishing recommendations to help guide a resilient future for open space.

Want to share your thoughts? The first opportunity for public engagement will take place at the next Recreation and Parks Commission meeting on Thursday, August 21, at 6 p.m.
