OPA Update 9/26/24: Sweet Rose Closing, Thai Fest by the Beach, Montana Avenue Art Walk, & Other Things To Do This Weekend

OPA Heal the Bay Beach Clean-Up NEXT Sunday Oct. 6: The event runs 10am – 12pm, starting at Tower 26 (end of Ocean Park Blvd at the beach). All needed supplies are provided. Parents, students, families and neighbors are all welcome. Email Dave Tann with questions.

Santa Monica Rent Highest in LA: This SMDP report summarizing a Zumper report states “Santa Monica was ranked as the most-expensive spot in Los Angeles to rent a one-bedroom apartment, with a medium active listing of $3,000 over the past month.”

Sweet Rose Creamery on Main St. Closing its Doors: They posted this bittersweet Instagram message sharing that they will close on Sept. 30 after 14-years on Main St. 

Superba Food + Bread Venice Celebrates 10 Years: It is marking its 10th anniversary with a series of promotions. On Thursday/Today, guests can enjoy complimentary slices of birthday cake all day and night.
