Santa Monica Police Department to Take Back Unwanted Prescription Drugs Saturday

This Saturday, October 28, 2017, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., the Santa Monica Police Department and the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) will give the public its 14th opportunity in seven years to prevent pill abuse and theft by ridding their homes of potentially dangerous, expired, unused, and unwanted prescription drugs.

Bring your pills for disposal to the Public Safety Facility (front curb) at 333 Olympic Drive.

We cannot accept liquids or needles or sharps, only pills or patches.

The service is free and anonymous; NO questions asked.

Can’t make it on October 28th? No worries!  We have a permanently installed prescription drop-off box at the Public Safety Facility (333 Olympic Dr.) for your convenience.
