ALL WEEKEND for Sharing an Open Main St Festival

Main St. will again be transforming into a pedestrian plaza all weekend – Enjoy pickleball in the street, a movie in the street, people and dog Halloween contests, trick-or-treating and other Halloween activities, a beer garden & much more!

  • HOWL-O-WEEN PET EVENT (SATURDAY 3-5PM): Main Street’s annual costume contest & pet parade returns for “Howl-O-Ween”! Dress your pet for a chance to win cash and other prizes! With a photo booth, pet lounge and activities for furry friends all weekend long!
  • MOVIE ON THE STREET: COCO, IT’S THE GREAT PUMPKIN, CHARLIE BROWN & LINCOLN MIDDLE SCHOOL MADRIGALS! (SATURDAY 6:30PM): After the pet event, stick around for the annual showing of TWO Halloween classics on the street and free popcorn! *While supplies last. Lincoln Middle School Madrigals will kick off the evening with a 15 minute medley of halloween carols before a showing It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown and another classic selected by YOU! *BYO Lawn chairs recommended. Free popcorn too!
  • BEER GARDEN COSTUME PARTY (2-7PM | 2807 MAIN): For the first time, the Open Main Street beer garden will transform into a costume party with prizes every hour! Tickets include drink tastings from: Santa Monica Brew Works, Dulce Vida Tequila, JuneShine Hard Kombucha, Angelisco Tequila, St. Hildie’s Spiked Tincture Tonics, Vintage Distilling, and a cash bar. There are multiple costume categories and prizes include luxury hotel stays and restaurant giveaways! *Costume contest on Saturday only. Beer Garden open all weekend long.
  • LIVE MUSIC & PERFORMANCES (SATURDAY & SUNDAY | 1-7PM): 2 stages!
  • PUMP STATION & NURTURY KID CORNER (SATURDAY & SUNDAY): Enjoy musical story time, free face painting, a photo booth, kid-centric vendors and more throughout the weekend!
  • HUNGRY NEKO ASIAN FOOD FEST PRESENTED BY SUNNY BLUE (2654 MAIN SATURDAY & SUNDAY): Hungry Neko has arrived in Santa Monica! With delicious food, captivating art, amazing music and a beer garden hosted by Suntory! Special guest: Yoyoka, a13 year old drummer from Japan who has been named on the “Worlds top 500 drummers”, she’s performed with bands such as Fall Out Boy and Cyndi Lauper.
  • PICKLEBALL ON THE STREET (Sunday 12-5pm): The Santa Monica Pickleball Center will again be hosting open play and exhibition games on pop-up courts just north of Ocean Park Blvd.
  • FARMERS MARKET (8:30am-1:30pm Sun):  “Join us at the Main Street Farmers Market this Sunday as we kick off the second day of October Open Main Street. Starting at 9am, Adriana Bravo takes the stage followed by Lottie Johnston from 11am-1pm! The Bach2Rock Instrument Petting Zoo will be on the lawn and Kiki and the Sunnyside Chalkers will be bringing a rainbow of fun.”
