Metro Approves $85 Million for Bike/Ped Grants, Including Bergamot Connector

Yesterday, Los Angeles Metro approved $85 Million in grants for bicycle and pedestrian infrastructure improvements throughout Los Angeles County. Included in those grants is $1,451,003 for bike lanes as part of the first mile/last mile projects for the Bergamot light rail stop and the arts community.

The Bergamot Connector project funds bike lanes to connect the station area to the Michigan Avenue Neighborhood Greenway (MANgo) project. For details about the rest of the grants, visit Streetsblog.
