Community Meeting Announced for Pair of New Housing Projects on 7th Street

The development team for a pair of housing projects on 7th street announced a virtual community meeting to discuss the project on Notice of Virtual Community Meeting on Thursday, September 11 from 6- 7:30 p.m. You can join the meeting by clicking here, or sign-up for more details at the projects’ official website.

1520 7th Street, Santa Monica

The proposed 1520 7th Street project is a 23-story mixed-income residential tower consisting of 104 for-sale market-rate units and 20 deed-restricted replacement rental units. The development includes resident-serving indoor and outdoor amenities located at the podium level and rooftop. The project also proposes approximately 220 parking spaces, provided across two subterranean levels and three above-grade parking levels — levels 1–3).

1238 7th Street, Santa Monica

The 1238 7th Street project provides the off‑site affordable housing required for the 1520 7th Street project. The proposed project consists of a 4-story residential building with 23 deed-restricted affordable units. The project includes outdoor common areas and amenity spaces intended to serve future residents.
