Santa Monica Specific:
Papille Gustative (2823 Main St) Offering Free Cookies & Milk: Anyone who drops by between now and Sunday who is affected by the fires can get a bit of smiles and sugar in their day.
Huckleberry Café (1014 Wilshire Boulevard) – The Rustic Canyon Family’s all-day bakery and cafe is offering free coffee to first responders.
The Driven Collection (424-416-9388) – Free vehicle storage in their garages (until they run out of space). Text them or contact them through their website if you need help.
Mud/WTR Cafe (2515 Main Street) – Is offering shelter, Wi-Fi and snacks.
Vintage Church (1015 California Avenue) – Is offering its bathrooms, Wi-Fi and snacks.
Big Blue Bus – Offering free transportation to the Westwood Recreation Center from Lincoln and Montana. All fares are free at least through January 9.
Santa Monica.com – Offers a list of discounted hotel rates throughout the city for evacuees.
Regional:
Metro Los Angeles – Suspended fare collection (free rides) through Friday.
Gelsons and Instacart – Are offering free delivery for groceries citywide. Visit shop.gelsons.com and use code GELSONSDELIVERS at checkout. Code valid three times through the end of the month.
Planet Fitness – Planet Fitness locations in Los Angeles are “offering anyone impacted by the fires—first responders and residents—free access to shower, recharge, and relax.” Locations in Los Angeles and Inglewood.
AirBnB – Will provide “free, temporary housing for people who have been displaced by the Los Angeles wildfires.” You can find more information on booking a free stay here or offering a free stay here.
Babyletto – Is offering free cribs to families that no longer have one. Information in their Instagram post.
Sizzler – Is offering free meals to evacuees. There’s one in Culver City.
Uber – Use the code WILDFIRE25 for a free Uber ride up to $40 to a shelter.
Lyft – Use the code CAFIRERELIEF25 for two rides up to $25 each to and from shelters.
Mutual Aid LA has compiled a spreadsheet of local shelter and animal boarding options.
Los Angeles Tourism has put together a list of hotels that are offering discounts to those evacuees here.
L.A. Taco has a list of taquerias offering free tacos to first responders.
This thread on Reddit has a good and growing list of restaurants around the region that are offering something to either/both first responders or evacuees.
