BBB Services Changes Are Now In Effect

Beginning Sunday, August 13, the Big Blue Bus made schedule changes on seven (7) routes to improve service reliability, and extending Route 16 service to Playa del Rey.

Big Blue Bus remains challenged by a nationwide bus operator shortage, which has impacted service delivery and trip frequency. All trips now begin/end at Culver Boulevard/Vista Del Mar in Playa del Rey, with direct service to Loyola Marymount University, Santa Monica College, and Metro Rail’s E Line. Service operates every 26-30 minutes on weekdays only, between approximately 6:00 a.m. and7:30 p.m. daily.
